Homeowners know the problem: energy costs are often higher than expected. This is not only due to high power consumption. The increased demand for thermal energy is particularly noticeable in winter. Hot water and heating costs of more than 1,000 euros are not uncommon.
Many are wondering how they can reduce electricity and heating costs. The answer is simple: buy a solar system with a heat pump. Because the photovoltaic system generates inexpensive solar power. This can then be used to operate the heat pump.
This saves money and is also environmentally friendly. In today’s article, we would like to show you how you can take advantage of the combination of photovoltaics and heat pumps to drastically reduce your energy costs. We start with some basic information about heat pumps:
The heat pump is a special type of heating that serves as an alternative to fossil fuels such as oil or gas. Because unlike wood, gas or oil heating, there is no combustion here. Instead, the thermal energy stored in the environment is used to heat buildings. This happens in an extremely complex technical process: the so-called refrigerator principle.
The heat pump consists of three main components:
1. two heat exchangers,
2. a compressor and
3. a pressure relief valve.
Die Wärmepumpe arbeitet dabei nach folgendem Prinzip:
Sole-Wasser-Wärmepumpe
Luft-Wasser-Wärmepumpe
Wasser-Wasser-Wärmepumpe
